Trinity United Methodist Church

Located at the corner of Bohemia Ave. and Third Street in Chesapeake City, Trinity UMC serves the community with traditional worship, Sunday school, small groups, and many community outreach programs to our neighbors in and around Chesapeake City MD. We welcome you to join us for worship and any of our ministries. We have been welcoming and serving the community for over 150 years, and we continue to be vibrantly alive in Christ, with people of all ages active in the life of the church. KidsOwn Worship is available for elementary age children during adult worship, however children are always welcome in the adult service. There is adult supervision in the nursery for infants and toddlers. Many parents find they would rather keep their little babies with them during worship and we welcome their joyful noise. Sunday school runs from September through mid-June for ages two through adult. We provide hearing assisted devices during worship for those that need them we have many mid-week opportunities throughout the year for bible study and faith development. See our "Study" link on the home page for a schedule of short and long term study events. Our choir is always welcoming new voices.

Sanctuary of Trinity UMC

During the summer Trinity is the location of the Chesapeake City Ecumenical Association Vacation Bible School. The church building also houses the CCEA food pantry. We have a free fellowship lunch at the "Kanal Kitchen" on the last Saturday of every month for anyone in need of food and/or fellowship. No reservations needed, just drop in at noon. Click on the "Outreach" link on the home page to learn more about our service in mission. Trinity shares a pastor with Town Point UMC and Jacob's Well and together we provide three opportunities for worship on Sunday mornings. A time for refreshment and conversation is provided on the 2nd Sunday of each month immediately following worship at Trinity.
