Are you Gifted?

Yes you are! Being a part of God's family includes having spiritual gifts.

Scripture tells us that we all have a gift from God and that he calls us to use that gift in his service. Some of us may have more than one, some of us have yet to discover all the gifts we've been given, and some of us are sure of our gift(s) and where to use them. We would like to help you discover your gifts and also help find a place within our church family where you can enjoy serving God in your gifted capacity.

Please take the time to fill out an assessment before June 1st, and then send, drop off, or email the office with the results. We hope to use this knowledge as a guide for discerning how each of us is called to serve in our church family and in the community. God makes sure that every one of us has a gift to share, and he makes sure that the church has a need for every one of those gifts.

This assessment is designed to help you understand what spiritual gifts God has blessed you with. It is not a pass or fail type test, just a way to understand how you may best serve God and His church. It looks at your "shape" to determine what you enjoy, what your abilities are, where you have experience, and also takes into account your personality and passion. Please allow about 20 minutes to complete the form. Don't second guess your answers, just answer with your instinct. There is no right or wrong answer but make sure you are answering as you are, not as you would like to be or how you think people see you. After completing the test, total your score in each column and put it at the bottom in the total row. Circle the 2 or 3 highest scores and look at the key below the scoring to find your gifts. You may find one area that is particularly high or you may have several that are high. We are all different and all called to serve in different ways.

After completing the form, please send the results of your giftedness to the office. You can drop off or mail the answer sheet or simply email the office (office@TrinityTownPoint.com) with the gifts you've discerned from the test. We will then follow up with some suggestions about what this gift means and where in the life of our church you may be most able to serve. This will not be a list of things we want you to do, just suggestions for you to keep in mind when you hear of opportunities for serving God. It is our prayer that everyone in our congregations will intentionally discover their gifts and understand that God needs each and every one of us in order to fulfill our mission in this community.
