Chesapeake City UM Youth Group
Youth Group meetings are a mix of fun, fellowship, and formation. Our weekly gatherings are a place of sanctuary, a time to take a break from the stress of the outside world. Our activities are focused on learning more about what it means to be disciples of Jesus. We read the Bible, play games, ask questions, discuss, and laugh a lot.
May 9-10 the youth group is having a lock-in to raise money for Heifer International, an organization that provides animals to families in poverty. A flock of chickens or a cow can provide a sustainable source of food and income for families struggling to put food on the table.
